I'm giving 4 stars because the few sips I had of the coffee was incredible. Unfortunately in the 30-second walk from my car to my apartment building, the paper cup holder I was given broke immediately and both coffees splattered to the ground. So that was a waste of $13 and I came home with no coffees for anybody. This place should not give those cup holders out, or get ones not so fragile. Please take this into consideration.
Wow. Welcome to Brooklyn much? I had a long day and walked in to the place an hour before closing. I get met with “it’s late we’re out of drip Coffee, we can just make espresso drinks only”. Ok, no problem, how bout a pour over (since that clearly doesn’t require a drip machine).I was met with “….fine. You know it takes 7-10 min right?”. To which I responded: “Ok.”Also met with roll eyes when asking which drink had more milk (macchiato vs cortado)..I’m sorry? That’s a job of a barista to educate.Hours are till 9, why the attitude an hour before?Wouldn’t come here again. Drinks were good though. People can have difficult days so workers don’t always smile, that’s fine. But cut the attitude, I’m sure the owner wouldn’t appreciate customers being talked out of the more expensive drink.
Maple latte is amazing. I got it with almond milk and they have cinnamon and cocoa powder out always appreciate that. (I recommend adding cinnamon to it.)Be aware it’s packed with people on laptops working. But turnover is frequent enough.
Great coffee and a nice little independent ? shop. Service was good as well. I would definitely go back.
