Smokin’ Joe’s Clarksville

The older man to begin was fantastic, very friendly and linguistic, forget, but it is expected and has not disturbed me a bit. I ordered the sausage plate, also what should be a rib sandwich, but got a ribbed plate and the brisket sandwich. the aromes were not bad; brisket did not taste like brisket, nor was the resistance of the flesh. it was dry; it needed definitiw sauce. ribs were a little dry for my taste, but were not bad. you ruined went well with the meat. her sosty was edgy, so I didn't use anything. her claw was quite delicious. I can admit that I never swore how she hacked her, but hey, what works. oddly enough, my favorite part was the little hotcakes that are looking for something. I also tried the blackberry cobbler, and after having her homemade tee, I thought it would be loaded with sugar, but not. (the cobbler who is,The tee was loaded with tons sugar. it had great taste, but they had their warmer too hot, and it was a bit scorched almost burned. overall, it is not a bad place, but not the best bbq joint, according to my opinion.

Joe's is an amazing establishment.The owner is amazing and the food is just as good.He made our experience amazing and went out of his way to make us feel special.

Worst Brisket I've ever tried. Extremely chewy and soggy, it had a lot of fat. Cold yet overcooked somehow. And the sauce... God, BBQ sauce is supposed to be sweet with a touch of spicy. This sauce was pure hot sauce. I understand we are in Tennessee and the sauce must be a bit hot, but this... terrible.Instead of cornbread, they have these pancake looking things. Weird but better than the disappointment of a brisket they served. The seasoned fries are good (when fresh/if fresh). Mac n cheese was not as bad, if you let it sit not for long at all you'llsee the oily fat separating from the rest of the side, very small portion taking in consideration that was the only good thing in the platter, at least is not the kraft instant mac n cheese.

I ordered off Uber eats. I ordered Potato salad got Mac and cheese. Ordered banana pudding and didn’t get it. Put in notes to please send utensils and tarter sauce for fish, didn’t get either. But on the plus side the food I got was great. Just not pleased with not getting my order right.

Food was very good. We had ribs, rib tips and brisket. All were very tender, ribs feel off the bone. Loved the baked beans.
