Went out of blue place was rustic and good feeling. We were seated right awayy jalapeño cheese curds are fantastic!! Cost down below of 10 to 20 per person is because of drinks as well. During my recent trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin for a family reunion and to explore my family's farm roots, I stayed with relatives in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Clear Lake, with a population of around 1000, has a quaint downtown area of five to six square blocks surrounded by many historic churches. Lucky's Bar and Grill is a popular gathering spot for locals. I had breakfast there with my cousin two mornings in a row and joined a lively group of opinionated farmers and farm equipment manufacturers. The conversation quickly turned to politics and farming, with one farmer questioning the need for growing corn for ethanol when there is abundant oil in the ground. Another farmer and his twin brother, who invented a mechanical bean picker in high school, now run a successful farm equipment company nearby. We also visited a local business, PBO, known for their detailed civil war cannon replicas and their work in preserving the history of the era. One farmer took us to his farm where we saw numerous nesting boxes for martins and watched the birds in action. Overall, it was a fun and informative morning, topped off with a delicious and affordable breakfast of farm-fresh eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee. It's hard to beat a meal like that for under $15, especially with such entertaining company.
