I have been wanting to try Common Good for so long and today the stars aligned. I picked up a flight to give a few flavors a try. Lavender Pistachio, Lemon Crumble, Smoking Gun Coffee and Mint Brownie. Served with a cup of waffle cone chips to go with them. All were fantastic, but that coffee ice cream is intense. The Lavender is good as well but an odd experience. The ice cream is smooth and perfect but then you get these little nuts that have softened from the moisture. Sort of like gummy pistachios. 10/10 would buy again.Lemon crumble has a fresh and almost juicy lemon flavour. This one is such a decadent treat.Their lounge is a cool cavern that is a refuge on a hot day.
Delicious!!! The lemon crumble was so so good! Highly recommend! I should've brought a pint home with me, next time!! Hickory caramel here I come!
I sat down to enjoy my Mini Egg Cookie Dough ice cream cone and thats when the journey started. The creamy ice cream contrasted with the light and crunchy waffle cone on my tongue as it swirled around in my mouth. I continued down this whirlwind taste bud firework journey while listening to a mesmerizing catchy beat while watching people walk by downtown Abbotsford. My journey was coming to an end when I realized I had one bite left...the best bite. I didn't want it to end but I couldn't resist slowly crunching down on the final bite. My journey was over, it was timeless, it was tasty, it was Common Good!
Common Good has a pleasant cafe environment and fits in nicely in downtown abbotsford. I recently attended with my family and the ice cream flavours were all good but underwhelming for the price point. The staff were pleasant helpful and polite but there are significantly better options for this ice cream close by.
