Unfortunately, my experience was sub-par. I ordered over the phone and arrived when I was told the food would be ready. With only one table of customers in the restaurant already served, I arrive to see that my order had not yet been prepared. The lackof organization and hygiene was off-putting. The entrance was cluttered with open caraffs of sauce and general junk. Theperson cooking the food had an apron that looked like it had not been cleaned in a week and was touching all different foods(cross-contamination? , no gloves, nor did he wash his hands. My appetizer did not look appealing (nor authentic and it did nottaste good: something was very sour and parts of the dish were very cold. Additionally, I was not informed over the phone thatthe prices had been raised by $2, the menu 's are not update either (neither online or in the store . For what I paid for anappetizer I could have had an entire meal somewhere else. Will not be returning.
This was so delicious. They have a great lunch special. My waitress Carrie was friendly and attentive. The cook was happy and singing. This place helped me to feel so happy. It was like coming to a friend's home with the tables all set up and the happyatmosphere. My food had so much flavor. I'm so glad I happened to find this place. I am looking forward to being in Clearwateragain to try more options.
It was sooo good. I do not like to much spice and they accommodated my coconut soup and butter chicken to perfection. Garlic Naan was on fire! Cooked perfectly with great taste.
I went with my mom here tonight for a LOVELY dinner at the new location 2613 gulf to bay blvd next to the Tires Plus). Our server Carrie was very attentive and friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING!! I moved from NYC and was missing good Indian food andmy friend showed me this spot. Indian Bistro is the best Indian food in the Tampa Bay Area hands down for sure. I have severelactose intolerance and thanks to the kind chefs I am able to enjoy my favorite Indian dish again, Chicken Tikka Masala! Theyused coconut milk instead which made it equally as tasty! I tried their garlic naan Samosa Chaat for the first time and it wasdelicious! However, the star of the show was my the Tandoori Chicken with extra onions. This was the BEST tandoori chicken weboth have ever had! We love coming here and the staff treat you like family. I greatly encourage anyone to try this place, especially if this is your first time trying Indian food.
