Lexi's Blue Ribbon is a fantastic replacement for Trattoria (formerly Lemon Sisters). The $10 salad bar (available for just $3 as an upgrade to a dinner entree) is top-notch, featuring a variety of fresh leafy greens such as green and red leaf lettuce, spinach, and romaine, as well as 6 protein options including tuna salad, chicken salad, chopped ham, chopped deli turkey, hard boiled egg, and bacon crumbles. There are also about 20 other tasty toppings to choose from. The only downside was that all 6 dressings were store-bought. The swiss mushroom burger (lunch) was tasty, and the grilled salmon (dinner) was exceptional, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
I visited Lex tonight and had a great experience. The hostess was friendly and our server did a fantastic job. We never ran out of drinks. The staff seems to still be getting into the swing of things, but they were wonderful. I ordered the red snapper and my son had the salmon steak, both cooked perfectly. The snapper's flakes were delicious. Desserts were also on point and the salad bar had a great selection of fresh options. I tried the chicken salad and it was delicious. There were a few minor issues that didn't detract from our overall experience. The food presentation matched the overall experience. The menu may not be extensive, but it's likely to expand. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, a skilled chef with lots of creativity and passion. Overall, a great dining experience at Lex. I highly recommend it to those who appreciate fine food cooked by talented chefs.

We never ran out of drinks and the staff, although still getting into the groove, were wonderful. I ordered the red snapper and my son had the salmon steak, both were cooked perfectly. The onions on top of my snapper were delicious and the sweet tea was just right. The salad bar had a variety of fresh options, including different green salads and a tasty chicken salad. There were a few minor issues, but they did not detract from the overall experience. The presentation of the food matched the quality of the meal. Although the menu is not extensive, it is likely to be updated. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, who is a skilled chef with a lot of creativity and passion. Lexi's is a gem and I look forward to more great things to come. If you enjoy well-prepared food by talented chefs, I highly recommend giving Lexi's a try.
I've only had lunch here, but I will definitely be returning frequently. The soup and salad bar was only $10 and offered unlimited servings. The menu is not overwhelming, but the choices are appealing and well-suited. The atmosphere in the renovated building is fresh, charming, inviting, and calming. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
