The best we ever had in cleveland! if they like the Asian cuisine at all, goma is a must to try the facility.
The food was below average. Ginko is the sushi god restaurant of Cleveland, so this was really disappointing. They cooked the beef tenderloin passed well done. The sushi was fresh and very clean tasting but not unique in any way. The tamago came out with a weird grey tint but we still tasted it, and unfortunately, also not good. Like not edible not good. The tuna tartar was mind blowing. The tuna sashimi was just perfect. And the green veggie tempura was very good. I feel bad about this review but we had a pretty bad experience. The restaurant didn’t go without noticing that we didn’t eat a lot of the food bc they took things off the check(not our intention but appreciated).
Food was excellent. Kevin our server was great and the sushi chefs were helpful. We usually go to Ginko but will come back for sure
During the 1.5 years that Goma has been opened, I have enjoyed dinner there 20+ times and had an outstanding experience each and every time. The quality and variety of food offered--in a fine dining effort--is seldom matched by any restaurant. The tuna appetizer (on menu), sushi rolls, pork belly ramen...all are star dishes. Goma consistently produces top-notch food. Service is always very strong and the staff does an incredible job of creating a great dining experience, from start to finish. Dante created an amazing concept...basically Nobu-quality food in Cleveland, for a price that is much more desirable. Chef Lou is absolutely elite. Goma is consistently a Top 3 restaurant in all of Cleveland and I cannot recommend it enough. 5 stars!
