I didn't give 5 stars because the tables were dirty when we arrived (but like I said they were busy so I kind of understand) and the bus person put our fork, knife and soon out individually by hand instead of it being rolled in a napkin as usual.
What a find!!! Stumbled upon this place while showing houses, and definitely lucky we did! After talking to our server Jennifer we went with breakfast. Jennifer suggested the burrito, and WOW are we glad she did. 3 scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese filled this monster. GREAT DEAL FOR THE PRICE! The other choice was a MASSIVE plate of biscuits gravy w/sausage link and CRISPY bacon, again awesome! The gentleman who was bussing tables never let my coffee get low. The menu had a little bit of breakfast choices for everyone on one side and creative lunch choices on the other. I can't wait to come back and try lunch...or maybe the other 2 burrito choices? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My wife and I first stopped by while returning from the Pyrofest and, after experiencing 30 minute wait times at a couple of breakfast spots in Independence decided to come to this place much closer to our own neighborhood. We are glad we did! Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves! Yay..! No wait! Coffee and water were there within 5 minutes and we were eating good breakfast fare within 15 minutes! The servers are excellent and move with good efficiency while being friendly and courteous. We have been back once since then and the service has remained pleasantly consistent! We don't know how long this well-kept secret breakfast spot will last, but we highly recommend it. If this excellent service continues, which I'm sure it will, there may well be a line out the door when you get here! Absolutely love it!
Wow this place is the bomb , been driving past here for 4 years and this place is great . I had the farmer’s skillet and it was Devine . Some of the best sausage gravy for suuuureee! It’s small inside gets crowded but it’s worth wait wasn’t too bad at all for a crowded restaurant . My wife had the western skillet , and I must say everything taste so fresh . Not your sloppy breakfast spot . They serve lunch here too , and offer to go menu. This is actually an old Taco Bell building so you know it’s small . I shall return definitely, nice staff , and not too expensive.
Wonderful little neighborhood diner. I had the breakfast skillet and everything was perfectly cooked and service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food given
