Beach Donuts - Clinton

I would really like this place to be the beach donut it used to be before it was sold but I don't think it will ever be. I remember the days when you would walk in there would be a smell of fresh baked donuts. Today you walk into the smell of grease. You used to walk in and there would be plenty of selection, today we found that there was barely a selection and the donuts we got were stale. We only got three. 2 of them were just finished off the rack which concerns me. They must be getting a lot of the donuts pre made and thawing them out because the quality is so poor. I am not sure why there are so many reviews that celebrate this place. I cannot agree with any of them. The customer service is poor also with a frantic chaos of employees trying to get orders correct. People coming to beach donut for the first time may just be happy they got something better than Dunkin or a gas station but it is nothing compared to what the establishment used to be. We will not be returning.

Another diamond ? on the Connecticut shoreline. It's a really fantastic donut shop. I am going to go tomorrow and have some of their doughnuts to go and a cup of coffee. Great local spot. Friendly service. We went in for the GF donuts and were excited to discover that they could safely make GF breakfast sandwiches. Very good

The best donuts I have ever had! I shared with friends and they all agreed these donuts are amazing. Fresh and yummy, high quality. I can not recommend enough. Good coffee too! The service was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. I think it is family owned and I am very impressed. We should support this local business which is providing a quality product and great service.

Such a cute little breakfast spot! Come here pretty often as they have a variety of donuts! I promise you, you'll be coming back! And there homemade donuts oof!
