Chez Amy's - Cluis

How dare to open a tea room in a small village at the end of the countryside! He is an Englishman and his family, who took the lead of a former café to make it a typically British tea room. On the menu, various teas, coffee and other drinks, some cakes and the famous English tea with cakes and sandwiches that you have to book 24 hours in advance. He was the boss's son who took care of the service and his little English accent made you travel immediately. We only took drinks, so I hope to go back and test the pastries. The frame is very pleasant: walls with red bricks, large sofas, tables with vichy tablecloths and large windows! The fact that this tea room is in a remote place seems risky to me, but I wish him a success because it's worth it!

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past, but this year we found that it has closed down. We have been told that the couple that run the restaurant have opened up another one in a neighbouring village, if anyone has any information where this is and what it is called, could they post it on this site please as we miss their food and them also.

Lovely, little restaurant in the beautiful little town of Cluis. The staff were really friendly and the food was 5/5!!I had the Chilli and chips with cheese and then 2 crepes for dessert. The only downside was that I couldn't eat another crepe!!Will definitely be making this a regular spot to visit.

We visited chez amys for the first time this aug (16) for a family meal. the people are very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely and there was space outside for my children to play. I would highly recommend this place! We will definitely be going back when we are in france again next year!

A range of food and drink of French, English and Mediterranean origins. Wide range of teas. Good coffee. Hassle-free service from helpful staff. INEXPENSIVE. Children's play area in a secure back garden. Don't go cos I don't want it to get crowded.
