The landscape was amazing. We loved it so much that we went back for a four-hour drive. That was better! I can't even describe the beauty of the landscape on this trip. We drove to the clock tower that led us to a beautiful summit and down to a river where we stopped and had lunch that Jackson cooked for us. We loved it absolutely. It was worth every penny.
We stayed at Bill Cody Ranch and loved it. Our cabin had plenty of room for two adults and four kids- they each got their own bed and that never happens so we were pleased. We did the four hour horse ride and our guides, Ellie and Madison were very nice. Trails were a bit steep and rocky for a beginner, but the horses know the route. We had a fun experience, but honestly the two hour would probably be fine for beginners. We were very sore the next few days?. The hamburger cooked on the horse ride was tasty. Some of my group went to the Cody Rodeo and had a great time. Food is pricey at the Bill Cody restaurant and we didn't eat here, but heard it was good and it smelled fantastic. Town is about 30 minutes away (Cody) and we shopped at Walmart and cooked our meals in our room. 12 days on the road and trying to keep food costs at a minimum. Overall we loved our stay at the ranch and would highly recommend it.
Gorgeous views and awesome route. I recommend horseback riding here! The location is great and everyone who worked there were very nice and friendly and helpful. There were a lot of steep areas but the horses were great and I felt fine. They offer cabins as well but we did not stay there. Recommend them!
We were 3 nights in September 2022 and had a wonderful time. The cabins are clean and very comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. The bar was open all day. Meals were delicious and the service was excellent. The owners and Ranch hands running the place were fabulous to treat. We felt like home. The only Wifi available was in the main lodge where the bar, fireplace and restaurants were. It motivated us to hang more. We recommend the Bill Cody Ranch.
Nice western feeling with cute cabins. 20 miles from cody. loved the atmosphere and eating. we were for 5 days. owners are very nice people. only two negative. because two cabins are connected to each other, late-night noise can be a problem. we had people at 2:00 clock next door, although most of the resort were empty. very rough. on a short 2 hours drive, and my horse was out of control. the wrangler finally increased and she couldn't handle it. she had to bring him back. no refund or I'm sorry. everything in all it was a great place to stay.
