On presentation to our table my first thought was where 's the spinach . On eating, it disappointed further salty and the chicken tasted like cooked chicken added to the sauce or the whole dish simply reheated, hence dry chicken pieces. Vegetable curry was quite good, not as salty but nice flavours overall in this dish. The entree of paneer pakora was nice and slightly spicy. The garlic naan was flaky and nice but tasted like plain naan. The roti was a bit on the burnt side.
We ordered the vegetarian mixed platter for starters the samosas were melt in your mouth delicious . The chicken korma was cooked to perfection and the prawns Malabar had ample prawns and was on point . The staff were attentive and recommended to try the Indian sweets a sort of fudge it was perfect to finish off the meal .
We were in Coffs looking for a simple but yummy dinner and we found this little gem. They had all the things we were looking for starting with a mixed entree where the chicken tikka was the highlight. For mains we chose butter chicken which was a hit and lamb korma that tasted a little funky but it was a good different. The meal was accompanied by rice and garlic naan. This was all for less than $70 with generous servings the bonus is they allowed BYO.
Sat outside for 20 mins and no order taken or even asked for a drink. The restaurant had 1 table busy!!! So poor from them! Businesses are struggling after Covid and they ain’t helping them self really
