Brazos-proper Texas Kitchen

We went for Thanksgiving buffet. They had a nice selection of foods that weren’t just generic, but had a nice fancy twist. They weren’t too eclectic, so there’s always something for everyone. Staff was pretty much entirely students, who are very nice, and the service was great. Atmosphere is nice, and has a nice decor.

They had only 1 waitress who worked New Year and took everything forever. Drink, eat, even that took a very long time to get around. not a very good trip to attendees on holiday. the food was average. not our greatest culinary experience. the first and last time there.

I was very happy with how comfortable the restaurant felt. the chairs are well designed and the tables are not too close together and despite some big parties it was not too loud and we could just talk to our table. the menu is interesting, but not excessively kreatiw. I got the sloppy joh, but they forgot the coleslaw, which was actually too embarrassing for me (I had to ask for it to be delivered.) the service was ok. the server forgot a cocktail and we sat with dirty tellers longer than necessary. but I would certainly give the place another attempt. it was a positive experience.
