Don't waste your money. My server, Hayden, was great and the hostesses were super friendly. My problem comes with the food and the manager on duty. The steak tartare was a little bland but nicely presented. The major disappointment came with the crispy brussels sprouts that came out burned. My wife and I went for lunch and had the dinner for two. It was $185 for 2 salads, 2 sides, 1 32 Oz Porterhouse, and 1 large shareable dessert. The food was poorly handled for the price. Celebrating a 76th birthday, our kids took us to the well rated Porter?s Steakhouse in College Station on a Sunday. We rarely eat steak, so this treat was really special! It?s an inconspicuous place in a mall connected to the George Hotel. Parking was right next to the front door. Friendly upscale steakhouse next to the hotel. Open space and friendly waiters (mostly college students). Brunch was excellent.
