As soon as we entered Westside Diner, we knew we were in for a treat. The decor was great, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the classic diner smell added to the experience.
Don't bother coming here for brunch on the weekend - it's a waste of time and money. My friends ordered the skillets, while I opted for the turkey wrap.
On a recent Saturday, we tried to have brunch at this restaurant which had just moved in with the Harbour Street Fish Bar. It was 12:05 and our server said that they serve brunch until 12:30 but he would double-check with the chef. Server returned with brunch menus but said we could only choose from two items on the menu. We left. The restaurant is large, but there were only 3 other tables. Presumably the two restaurants have combined due to a lack of business, therefore, one would think they would accommodate diners. We won't be back.
The decor was nice and the waitress friendly. Our breakfast was served very quickly. My egg was cooked perfectly and my daughter's pancakes were very fluffy and delicious. The rest was very average.
