On our way to a hike we googled breakfast near me and Estimes cafe came up. What a find! Great vibe, friendly and attentive staff and fantastic food. The owner even checked on us and asked if it was our first time. What a great start to the day! We 'll be back!
If you're looking for the best brunch spot in Central Jersey, look no further!I came here on a Sunday morning and was seated right away. The inside is modern and stylish, with a welcoming vibe and very friendly attentive staff. We got:Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (5 5): so tasty, the fruit jam was tangy and fresh, pancakes weren't too sweet on their own and the lemon butter added the perfect amount of zestEstime's Omlette (4 5): omlette was filling and flavorful, potatoes on the side were seasoned wellThe star of the show was definitely the in-house smokey Haitian hot sauce- the kind of hot sauce you can eat on its own. I ended up buying some to take back home!Cannot recommend Estime's enough!!
A little disappointed, with all the great reviews they have I thought the quality of the food would be different. We ordered the brioche French toast that was 10/10. It was perfectly made—it wasn’t soggy nor was it bland. It had a great taste and the berries sauce it comes with was a perfect touch. The egg meat platter however was not what we expected, the bacon was EXTREMELY salty—so much so I couldn’t finish the platter I had throw it out after 2 bites. The tater tots had like a weird seasoning, tasted almost like lays bbq chips with honey—my taste buds weren’t ready for that. Caught me off guard! In addition tater tots were also extremely salty. The egg was the only thing that was made to expectation. The location itself looks really clean, but the parking situation stinks. They have a small lot with other vendors in the same strip, so it’s impossible to find parking if you want to do a quick pickup.
This place does not skimp on the seasoning. The shrimp and grits tasted amazing, everything well cooked. The amaretto French toast was heaven, and their chorizo tacos were hella tasty. Didn't know this place existed until Yelp, so shout out to the yelpers for always finding hidden gems. Definitely going back with all the girls. Also, it's byob so don't forget the Prosecco.
