Baked potatoes are exactly that, actually roasted potato pieces, not a sliver of secret pure frozen and flash fried. Very impressed
Another stop on the culinary tour, my real estate team enjoyed an amazing trip to Schnitzel Fritz! I often heard about this restaurant. As soon as people learn that I will try every restaurant in the city, many are curious when I have been to Schnitzel Fritz. I'm so glad I can say now that I was and it was so worth it! The entrance of the restaurant is lined with the shelves of the food, filled with European delights. Sweets, ingredients and stools surround the room. The menu includes the whole price you would expect in a German restaurant Schnitzel with various toppings, Bratwurst, Spatzlë and Reubens. What Schnitzel Fritz deals is how well they prepare these traditional dishes. What began as a meal among the employees quickly developed into a family style meal among friends, with the passing of plates, insisted that everyone had tried to order the delicious dish of each person. Perfectly seasoned, every dish was ready to order. The carving, thin fried pork carving, was hot and crispy, but tender. The sparrow is a delicate cross of dipping and emptying, boiled to al dente and barely crowned in a slightly browned butter. I could have done a whole meal of the Spatzlë alone, maybe I'll come back to do that. The sauerkraut had the perfect amount of acidic zing and perfectly complemented the surprisingly delicate maize beef. We didn't just love the food, we ate for every bite. The attitude was humble, with paper plates and tablecloths. That said the food didn't need a pomp and circumstance. It was so good that my mouth pours on memory. I returned to the counter to buy some European sweets and share my compliments with the owners. They grinst ear to ear and let me know they appreciate it. I could say how proud they were on their culinary heritage, and they have every right to be honored to have partaken.
It was my first time to eat here! They were so patient with me to commission me and let me know what the things are and how to order! I have the scavenger with cheese and sparrow. Oh, my God, it was so good! Thank you for a great experience!
Nice little restaurant! This place is a legitimate place to get traditional German cuisine. All we had was delicious and made from scratch. The staff was so nice, wonderful service. I loved you could buy food to cook home, we had to make sausages and spatzels at home. They also have a deli and slices of cake, so naturally we had to go a slice of hazelnut cake.
Conveniently located across from CarMax... Schnitzel Fritz is authentic German food. Traditional cuisine including various sausages, jelly, jam, noodles, pretzels, mustards... Great place for morning coffee and homemade cakes that are made fresh daily!
