Insomnia Cookies - Columbia

It was pretty good, just kinda wish they had more flavors but that’s just me being extra. Still really good ice cream!

I used to love ordering from this place. Recently, I’ve had issues with a lot of the items I’ve got both in store and delivery. In store, the staff seems like they hate their jobs. The cookies are fresh though. Delivery on the other hand, I’ve had my cookies delivered to a random hotel rather than my house. I’ve waited upwards of 3-4 hours for them too. They’re usually broken and cold too.

This was my first time coming here and I was a little taken back bc whoever owns it doesn’t take pride in their business. It’s like someone gave them money to start a business or gave them the business and they really didn’t want it and felt obligated to keep it going. It was dark inside and not well lit at all. I came around 12noon and the tables were dirty like from the previous day dirty. The inside is not decorated or welcoming. It was given a storage room vibe. The worker was fine but she didn’t have that welcoming energy it was like I am here. Could I at least get a smile and a welcome to. I tried one cookie when I got home and it was good. I thought they were suppose to be warm? But it’s ok they were good no complaints. I will come back I just think this spot has potential to be great! The cookies are really good, but the prices and atmosphere of the building were mediocre to bad. $12 for six cookies is egregious, but it least they are warm and delicious. The interior was poorly utilized, spacially, and had no public bathrooms and did not accept cash. However, Insomnia Cookies does get bonus points for being open so late.

We came in to get cookies with no one else in the place and the girl behind the counter couldn't be bothered to get off her phone to say anything. A man came from the back and said how are you as we were going out the door.The cookies they have are delicious but we aren't going to purchase anything from someone who doesn't want our business.
