Contribuisci feedbackVery delicious food! I tried almost everything on the menu at the first station and it was all great! even my not vegan friend loved it.
They are in a nice big space on main Street, plenty of parking on street in front. We had the philly cheesesteak, the beyond burger, and the seitan wings. Our friend had the pad Thai. Everything was great and service was too. Nearby is the food coop so check that out too after you're done.
Always love eating at Col’s Kitchen. Everything is tasty and fresh, never feels heavy or greasy. Friendly staff make it a very comfortable experience.
First, the positives. This is an all-vegan establishment. My wife liked her southwestern burger. I liked the watermelon mint soda. The server was personable and friendly. I ordered a cup of chili and the Philly Cheezsteak sub. The chili was fine, but too spicy for me so I only had a few bites. The sandwich was a real disappointment. Very oddly, it was made with cubes of seitan rather than shaved or even sliced seitan. It didn’t work for me at all — the texture of the resulting sandwich wasn’t good. I ate maybe a quarter of it before giving up. Based on other reviews, I think I just made a bad menu choice. I likely would have been much happier with the pad thai or a burger. One more complaint: If you see that a guest clearly hasn’t eaten their meal and they’ve declined a takeaway box, you should ASK if they didn’t enjoy the meal. It might be an awkward conversation, but it might also yield useful feedback. I would give this place another try when I’m next passing through Concord.
I love the food but if they tell you 20 minutes, expect 40. Not sure why, but the few times I have been there it's a similar experience. Support them, but don't be in a rush.
