Chicken was prepared in an Alfredo fashion, where as the noodles were for regular spaghetti. Fortunately, the drinks were perfect! $100 regretfully spent.
Great service! Limited menu on the weekdays so no hotcakes!!! Get the cold pressed juice!
Fast lunch service, excellent food. The kobe burger was to die for. Server was gracious with my wandering out of section and sitting at the bar, and with all my order peculiarities. Swing in if you want a laid back lunch at Perimeter.
I arrived at 8:27. I spent 5 minutes waiting for any of the restaurant staff to acknowledge me and let me know where to sit. Finally, I stopped am employee and was told to sit anywhere. I waited until 8:47 until I had to flag another server down to get water and a menu. Fast forward 1 hour later...our food finally came but 1 of the members of our 3 person party was informed that they no longer had what she ordered! We talked them in to a free glass of wine. They never did bring her any more food. We fed her off our plates. We were never checked on. It is currently 9:58 and we are still waiting. I have been waiting for 20 minutes for my second glass of wine. I will say, the food was decent but not worth the price or the wait. This restaurant needs to do some sous re-thinking of their approach. Update: the manager and staff were very apologetic and took care of our bill. They seemed genuine in their concern for our experience.
I hope the managers and executive chef of this restaurant have day jobs. My wife and I spent a week at this, otherwise acceptable, hotel and found the BISTRO 55 to be severely lacking. I, personally, am a great fan of eggs benedict. The versions of this dish at Bistro 55 ranged from a totally unrecognizable Hollandaise sauce, to a Hollandais sauce with an overwhelming vinegar taste to eggs that had yolk cooked through. This was 5 out of six tries. Two somewhat acceptable, 3 not at all acceptable. In addition, once we were told when we were seated that ordering off the menu would invove a 25 35 minute wait, so we tried the buffet. It was worse than the eggs benedict! The scrambled eggs were runny, the bacon was burned and the fruit selection was less than impressive. All this for $14.95, phooey! They could not even toast my wife 's English Muffin correctly. The first time it was presented she thought it was cold! Finally, the service is slow and indifferent, A ten minute wait from being seated to receiving any service at all was common. Once, after a` 20 minute, our order was delivered sans the English muffin. The waiter told us it was toasting. Bull hockey! It had never been ordered/started. If this restaurant was not the only game in town they would be empty!
