The Old Mill - Consett

Amazing location... It's definitely a hidden gem! I had my wedding here, and the service and food were second to none! The manager went above and beyond to make our day so special nothing was a bother. The staff were impeccable! Smiles all round, we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff are very warm and inviting. Again nothing seemed to be a bother to them and they were happy to help even if theu were busy they made time to help. I highly recommend this place for events or just for a chill on a sunny afternoon! Family run, very clean, warm, and friendly. In the winter, they have fairy lights up and an open fire perfect for those cold winter nights. Also, the blue cheese sauce to die for!

Great place to stay if you're up this part of the country... Friendly service, helpful and genuinely here to please... Good selection of beers on tap and food excellent and reasonably priced... Probably my 5th stay and will no doubt be staying again.... Xxx

Called in for lunch. Food is always great, staff are lovely and at a reasonable price. All in a classic setting. Food drinks: Great as always

Fanatic looking pub/restaurant goregous inside...food was.. fine nice size portions Taking into consideration they are really understaffed and I think only one chef. Service: 3 Location: 3
