Victor's Wood Grill - Coppell

Had a lovely dinner with friends. Our server, Kevin, did an outstanding job and made good recommendations from the menu. I had the smoked pork chop and it was good but I would try the catfish next time.

Excellent service and food. Having lived in the area for 10+ years and just now discovering this place. I am glad we did. Seasonal menu. Salad and meatloaf were awesome. Also the bartender is excellent.

I?m really sorry to be writing this. My husband and I went here tonight for date night. We went because of the great reviews and the close proximity to home. As we made a reservation, we were told promptly, that the table is reserved for 5:30pm to 7pm.Understandably, on a Friday night. We arrived and were seated at 5:30pm. We were rushed through our entire meal. When we satdown, our server got our drinks immediately, which is great, but then asked for our dinner selections immediately after. Ourdinner was out no less than 10 minutes later, and our server came by every 5 minutes after that. At the 30 minute mark, we werehanded a dessert menu and check. Our total ?drinks and dinner? date was only 45 minutes on the dot. We felt completely rushed.We do love speedy service, but in a fine dining scenario and paying , we definitely felt like we were rushed out of therestaurant. So disappointed.

Excellent locally owned restaurant. Friendly staff, outstanding food menu and open seating. Older building which gives it character. Small bar area off dining room allows for intimate socializing with friends. Can't wait to go back for more.

This restaurant deserves 6 stars! Maybe 7. Based on the reviews we went for an early dinner. Hostess was SO sharp, explained that they were booked up but could seat us if we were OK having only 90 minutes to dine! Once we were seated we met Kevin! HolyCow! What a pro! Back before he was born I trained servers for Marriott this young man was a professional! He took the time toinsure we knew about the day?s specials and the menu itself. Absolutely terrific service. We opted to share a salad which theygraciously split for us! Our meals were amazing. My ?meatloaf? was NOT your Mammas meatloaf!! It was one of the best I?ve everhad! My wife ordered the steak special 5 stars. The ambiance was old school charm with no pretentious vibe. Rather acomfortable welcome feel. Enough said: go!
