Jj's Copper Basin Lounge - Copperhill

My partner and I visited this restaurant, and we won't be returning. Upon entering, we were greeted by a strong smell of cigarettes. We sat down at the bar, and the bartender approached us, just staring. I said hello, and she replied with a hello but continued to stare without offering any information about the menu or the drinks, which seemed to consist solely of beer. It was clear this is a local hangout, and we didn't fit in. After a moment, she walked away to use her phone. Additionally, the establishment didn’t have any music playing, creating an awkward silence. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and we won’t be coming back.

This is an excellent spot for karaoke! The staff is incredibly quick and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The crowd has a great vibe, and the prices are just right. I appreciate that they still permit smoking indoors. It's usually busy on Fridays and Saturdays. It looks like they recently hired a few new bartenders who are very friendly. Please note that they only serve beer and wine.

If you're nostalgic for classic bars, you absolutely must check out JJ's. It felt like a trip down memory lane to my 20s! The staff was fantastic, and the DJ maintained a great atmosphere all night, even with the karaoke happening. We had an incredible time and will definitely return!

Very friendly atmosphere and the people were great. There were a number of Vets, several Vietnam, like myself and all sharing stories.

I am comfortable as a single women stopping on to get a drink. But they need to do more exciting things.
