Phở Holiday Austin Coquitlam Fresh Healthy Pho

The service was friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired. The egg rolls were overboiled, which was disappointing. I managed to eat about a quarter of my grilled pork before I called it quits—it was tough and underwhelming, and I won’t be returning. The pho broth was decent, but the rare steak wasn’t rare or good at all.

Gluten free noodles, and vegetarian options. Everything on their menu is delicious and never too long of a wait. Had a craving for their soup for weeks , finally had the time to stop by but the restaurant was closing in 15 minutes. Even after I decided to go somewhere else the hostess kindly insisted that I dine in. This kind of service is what will make me a regular customer for days to come as I've experienced similar situations where the workers eoseqhwre wouldn't take customers even when they're open for another 30 minutes and give off unpleasant vibes.

Solid veggie pho options on the healthier side. I visited for lunch one day, having seen that they have a sizeable vegetarian section of the menu most items are vegan . They have 4 different veggie noodle soup, so I tried one of those the spicy creamy peanut vegetable noodle soup, since I'm a sucker for the peanut phos out there. I got a large 13 plus tax . The soup came in about 5 minutes. The pho I took doesn't really do it justice, as all the veggies, tofu and noodles were submerged in the soup. You get plenty of veggies mostly broccoli and carrots along with steamed soft tofu and a generous portion of al dente rice noodles, with the usual garnishes. The broth was on the very light side, almost more reminiscent of a light miso character with a soft peanuty element, only lightly spicy. It's aiming to be on the healthier side, so as such, it's lighter and not very salty so don't expect a deep flavour explosion. For what it is, it's very solid and I'd have no problem returning, but it doesn't blow you away with complexity. Very solid spot for healthy veggie pho.

Ordered take-out once here and they me wait for the food outside while it was raining. I asked if I could sit in one of the empty seats while I wait, which there were plenty of, and they just said no.

The spicy, creamy peanut pho is the best soup I've ever had! It has so many incredible layers of flavor. I’ve been eating pho my whole life, and this dish is by far my favorite.
