Black Bear Diner - Cottonwood

The food was horribly bland with no flavor whats on and the burger was way over cooked

To start I ordered a crispy chicken Cobb salad, there was maybe a half of a chicken strip torn up to the side of the salad, no cucumbers, 2slices of abacado, and an obnoxious amount of blue cheese. The entire container was ridiculously greasy, and they were out of baked potato and wouldnt substitute anything so I paid for a baked potato that I didnt get. I wont order from black bear again. Theyre great if you go in and sit down but if you order take out they give you garbage.

The chorizo burrito was great. Hash browns were perfect as always. Only issue Ihad was that some of the potstos in the burro were raw.

Ive ordered the tuna melt before, and had requested to sub wheat, which was a menu option, and it came to me on rye. I decided to try it again, hoping that because it was an actual option on the menu for it, it would be seen. Im very glad Im not allergic to rye, I simply dont like it, because I again received it on the rye. the tuna itself was delicious, and i ate everything but the bread. please read instructions and choices given if youre going to give it as an option.

We felt welcome from the time we came in. Alex James was an amazing server and the food was fantastic. The pieces were great for the price and the price was not bad at all. We will definitely come back.
