Annadele's Plantation - Covington

We enjoyed our eating experience. we're coming back.

I have visited this restaurant several times in the past and loved it. this experience was very disappointing and has probably changed that we visit this restaurant in future. our server was nice but inexperienced (no appear to notice empty jars, I had to ask for everything we needed, that is like that, but we have it and it was pleasant.) other tables seemed more attentive than we did. Not all menu items were available, although we were one of the first tabs and the menus were printed only for this service. the meals of my children were too expensive and terrible. it is hard to scare chicken teeth, but they were very pale and dry. the part of my man was excessively salty and his chicken parm was not crispy. if I pay this amount for chicken parm, it should be perfect and that was anything but. I was hoping for a nice culinary experience, and instead I felt demolished and felt like we had a better experience in almost any other restaurant in the city. I doubt we will return to this restaurant again.

It was a birthday dinner for my 20-year-old daughter. everything was excellent....the eating, service and ambiente. I love this place for many reasons, but you are very quiet and civilized. the waiter was extremely efficient and friendly!

The crabcake small plate was disappointing. I couldn't see a crumb in the cake. it was more like potato cake. it didn't even taste like crawling and the BBQ sauce didn't help. the fried spinach leaves were a nice note. the hopedale fish was grouper, but the filet was small and slightly boiled. I did not discover any lump basket. $130 for two people. the other person said the steak was good, though expensive. the brot was like two pillsbury frozen buns.

We left the restaurant within 30 minutes of arriving. It was absolutely filthy. Windows that went to the floor, window sill was full of splattered dried food and dirt. Wrought Iron fixture on the wall was black but looked white because of all the dust at least an inch thick. Food under our table. Sinks in bathroom were old and stained, but one was very very dirty. I have never written a review about the condition of a restaurant but this needs to be told. I can not express enough the condition of this place. No way we could stay there to eat. We ordered our salads before our entree, so my sister did eat her salad but mine had so much bitter dressing I could not eat it. It was then that we discovered the unbelievable filth in this place.
