Blindbeck Tea Room - Craven

We enjoyed a delightful cup of tea, cake, and cheese on toast at this restaurant! The service from the lady who served us was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic experience - we will definitely be returning!

After a weekend camping and hiking, we stopped by this cafe on our way home. It was easy to find, had convenient parking, and we received a very friendly welcome.

What a charming and quaint little restaurant, it feels like stepping back in time to the 1930s or 1940s. However, this nostalgic atmosphere only adds to its charm. The owner was very friendly and the service was quick. The delicious cup of tea and tasty bacon and egg sandwiches were just what we needed after our hike up Whernside. The prices were very reasonable, if not an understatement. We didn't have any room for dessert, but we will definitely be back to try them. In the meantime, we enjoyed some homemade cookies we purchased and they were a hit back at our caravan with our next cup of tea. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the room temperature was a bit cold for my liking - I would have preferred it to be a bit warmer and cozier.

We just stopped on a driving tour after needing a cup of tea, and what a lovely find. So very friendly with inexpensive, good, traditional food and drinks (the scones were lovely) all with views of Pen y Ghent from the tables outside.

Quite simply the friendliest couple ever, the nicer coffee cake, scones and tea. Such a lovely place. Will visit again. Thanks for finding my bag and directing us to the campsite. Julie and Cheryl, Rick and Livs
