The Badgers Sett - Cropston

For the first time visit the badger’s sett today after hearing beautiful things about it and was not disappointed. the food was delicious and was well presented. our server, tom, was very polite and welcoming and could not fail his service at all. beautiful decoration as well as, really beautiful land vibes. we will definitely come back.

Our experience at The Badger’s Sett was excellent throughout, it is a lovely pub with a great feel! We were recommended the pub by our Airbnb host so arrived without a booking on a Friday evening, where we were greeted with a warm welcome before being served by Kim for the duration of our meal. Kim gave nothing short of exemplary service and was cheery, polite, informative and attentive, including providing fresh cutlery between starter and main. The food was delicious with good size portions and the speed of service was perfect for us. It seems some of the previous reviews have picked on some very trivial aspects but we honestly couldn’t fault the service at all, we were very impressed and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and a good array of choice on the menu. Not much for non meat eaters however hence the lack of 5 stars. Great service by the bar staff and servers, they all seem well trained and polite.

I had a wonderful meal with friends at this restaurant. It has recently been renovated, and it looks beautiful. We are looking forward to enjoying drinks in the garden on a summer evening, as it looks lovely. The menu offers a variety of options to cater to all tastes, and there is an extensive drinks menu to accommodate everyone’s preferences. Currently, if you sign up for their online newsletter, you receive a free dessert, which was a lovely bonus! The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning.
