Contribuisci feedbackI feel it's time for an update. I have been here several times since the waitress blatantly hit on my husband (boyfriend back then). I was here last Saturday after a convention in town. The place was somewhat busy but it was easy to get a spot for 5. The waitress was friendly and upbeat and the place was clean (which is important to me) but I will mention that the place is VERY LOUD. The acoustics in that building must be set for that because no matter how slow they are the place is always loud. Food- boneless wings are a nice size and are tasty. Pizza- one half was just cheese and the other half was sausage. It was made a little messy so maybe carry out was super busy. My friend had asked for the cheese to be brown, it was beautiful on one side but on his side it barely looked cooked. The food isn't great. I think we come here only with groups because friends want beer from Crown Brewing and want to snack with a larger space to sit. I'll come here with friends but it's not a place that I would seek out for pizza
As a long time customer after placing a order for a large sausage pizza at 4:pm on Sunday September 17th 2023 and being told it would be 50 minutes for delivery. After 60 minutes called and was told it was on its way. Well now after 85 minutes and no pizza I'm wondering what I will finally get if not a cold soggy pie. Will update if the pie ever arrives Ambiance......
Heading home from Chicago with family and we needed to stop some place for dinner. Since we love local spots and craft beer, Carriage Court was a great choice! Not too far off 65 in Crown Point, this little spot is connected to Crown Brewing. We ordered their new cheesy bread. It was amazing. Gone before I was able to get a picture. Since they are connected to the brewery, we were able to have a large selection of beers! There wasn't a beer we didn't like. I had three different dark beers and all were wonderful. Finally we ordered a large Detroit style pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce was great and the crispy edges were great. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable. She told us her fav beers and what she liked from the menu. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely stop in again!!
Great authentic pizza. Try the crumbled sausage just like old school from the Glen Park area of Gary made in hot ovens on corn bread crumbs.
Nice spot to sit and enjoy a lunch, service was on the slow side but supper friendly. Had Beer battered mushrooms that might be the best I've ever had! Garlic bread needed more garlic, should try adding fresh minced on it. Pizza was good. Good fresh dough. Would go back when in town. Love local places! Place was very clean. For being there for as long as it has they've done a nice job keeping everything up.
