Number 1 Chinese Cuisine - Croydon

The food was absolutely terrible! I will not be returning. The chicken was overcooked and hard, and the processed spring rolls had a strange chlorine taste. Overall, the food was awful.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to the restaurant. Not only have the prices gone up since our last visit, but the portions also seemed smaller. We ended up spending nearly £18 for just 2 curries and a portion of smoked shredded chicken.

We have been dining at number one for many years and the food is consistently fantastic. Today, they truly outdid themselves and the food was exceptional. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful Chinese restaurant right on our doorstep.

Good quality food with large portions , always cooked fresh . It gets very busy sometimes but well worth the wait in my opinion

Bang on average!! Got chicken fried rice chicken balls the rice was very dry and the sweet sour sauce wasn’t the best. Probably won’t be coming again again unless I got for something else.
