Brunello Trattoria - Culver City

This place is really beautiful! The room is bigger than I thought open, airy, big bar in the middle. There for lunch, had the special pasta: Linguine with softshell basket, tomato sauce. Excellent. The pasta was very nice al dente, the naked softshell basket only-sauteed, the tomato sauce very lightly spicy. And it was the perfect portion size, not oversized. The dish was so hot, right out of the pan. I realized naked softshell crabs that scared me. I'm sure I already had it. But so used to crush it in flour or flour. Seeing it naked only made me think of the poor crab, just trying to live her little life, and I ate it. It was delicious. The host/witter was so pleasant. Just hear love “prego”. Wines on the glass are $9. I have a glass of Sangiovese. With taxes and tip, lunch was $27. Definitely for lunch, but I chose a glass of wine. After my really nice lunch I came out and found a $50 parking card on my car – my own fault. So lunch was even more expensive than I thought.
