El Jordan Cafe - Dallas

I had breakfast here 2 days in a row. Super nice people, great food at a reasonable price. I had huevos ranchero's one morning and the oatmeal with cinnamon the next. Both were delicious!

Eating here reminds me of home. The staff are excellent and very friendly. I ordered a Carnita Torta which was prepared wonderfully with tender carnitas, good toppings, and great bread. The Horchata was the highlight of my day.

It has the feeling of a small town cafe on the square and the food to match. I ordered two eggs over medium which they came out. Exactly that way, two sausage patties, and two pancakes and all was tasty. The eggs already had salt on them so if you don’t like a lot of salt, you might ask them to hold the salt (I don’t salt my eggs just pepper) My server was probably in my top five ever of being the most friendly. The prices were incredibly reasonable, and I can highly recommend this place for a good basic breakfast. If I come back, I will definitely try a breakfast burrito.
