The ham is the best protein choice as well as the CFC. Friendly servers too. Triedthe sirloin and it?s not bad either. Varies
I had the country breakfast with chicken fried steak and asked for onion and bell pepper in my hash browns. Well the chicken fried steaks crust was thicker than the piece of meat and it was from the frozen section cause the thick coating just totallyseparated from the meat. The hash browns were sooo dry and it looked like they cooked the onions and bell peppers separately and just placed on top of the hash browns. The best thing they had was the coffee. We were the first ones in that morning andboy the lady answering the phone with the white hair was already grumpy. My waitress was fine thankfully. I would think that aplace like this made everything from scratch..i guess not.
We went for breakfast. A good amount of food for the price. The biscuits were pretty tasty. Busy place but still got in rather quickly and waited on. The memorabilia on the walls was definitely interesting. Didn't get any pictures of the walls, though.
Been to Norma?s several times. Anytime I find myself around the area I tend to go and they never disappoint. Food is delicious, coffee nice n strong just how I like it? the only reason why I gave 4 stars is because on my last visit my food arrived to meslightly cold.
My new favorite place!! Let me start with the most delightfull rolls..... I am NOT a bread person, it takes too much room in the tummy that should be saved for other goodies however, this buttery, sweet, fluffy goodness is another story. The chicken friedsteak is the best I've had in Texas so far!! Crunchy tasty outside with an amazing flavor in the inside. I had the brown gravy, I love that you get a choise of white or brown. Now I HAVE to go back again and try the white one. For my sides I had; thesalad, mashed potatoes, which were buttery delish, and the chicken gumbo which would have been perfect if it wasn't for theamount of black pepper it was cooked with. My brother loves pepper so he thought it perfection. Norma's was sooooo good we wentback again the next day, I had the catfish which did not disappoint! The fish was flaky and breaded soo tastefully it left mewanting more! I will warn you the ice tea is addicting so be prepared. There will more than likely be a wait and the parkinglot will be full on Saturdays and Sundays but it will definitely be worth it. The food will leave you dying to go back, and theservice is on point. Wish I had room for dessert cause the cinnamon roll looks soooooo good!
