Stoney's Wine Lounge

Stoney 's offers a wide variety of wines at reasonable prices, and Stoney can educate you regarding those of interest before you purchase, so that you can make informed choices. On most weekends, various jazz or blues performers entertain while you enjoy your chosen beverage (beer and soft drinks are available in addition to the large wine selection). The evening we attended, the entertainment was provided by Bill Peggy Lohr, and we were able to have Peggy autograph her latest book, Howdy, Hollywood for us. The location is not a large venue, so plan ahead by making a reservation, and arriving early, as parking is somewhat limited.Vegetarian options: A cheese plate with crackers is available.Parking: Several venues in the area compete for limited parking, so the best plan is to arrive early, use Uber/Lyft, or plan to walk a block or two.Kid-friendliness: This venue is not intended for children, so no child-menu is available.

Pleasant experience. Love the live Jazz! Looks like it stays open later on the weekend. Probably advisable to call if thinking about going later than 7pm as posted hours are 2-7pm.Sat on the patio and could still hear the music ?. Very friendly and helpful in selecting a wine ? that was nice

Room was full and we were waiting patiently for someone to take our drink order. Eventually, I tried to make eye contact or raise my hand several times with staff and was never acknowledged. So I tried to tap the waitress and she was blowing by and it was more of a paw at her shoulder. I apologized to her for the snafu and she admitted others were having to do the same because they were understaffed. All was said and done but then the manager decided it's her duty to put me in my place and passive aggressively asks our whole table if we were not getting good service. I immediately owned up to the incident and assured her I had already apologized. Then she goes on to berate me again in front of the whole table to say how you don't treat people like that. Good riddance, take some responsibility and hire some help. I didn't get up and walk out because there was actually great music.
