El Ranchero - Danbury

We visit this restaurant as a family and we all really enjoy the food. I particularly love their seafood fajitas. The chips and salsa are exceptional. The hostess took the time to explain our options when we mentioned our preferences.

The food is excellent, the churros are outstanding—definitely a 10/10—and the customer service is exceptional.

My Ecuadorean hair dresser recommended this spot, and my first visit proved to be delicious and a good value. It's a small spot in a business district, and seems to be a clean, family run operation that can serve about 30 people at a time. My chicken Mole burrito was yummy: moist white meat wrapped in tortilla drenched in a delicious sweet and deeply satisfying mole. The rice and beans that came with looked kind of ordinary, but proved to be delicious and classic. The chips were fresh and crisp, and the salsa was home made, tasty. with a little spicy kick. And the chipotle sauce that I asked for was even better. The house margarita was fine, particularly in light of it's reasonable price of $6. I'm coming back!
