Edd’s The Odyssea - Dangriga

Can't recommend this place enough! We dined here twice and both were great. The carving was bigger than your head, burgers perfectly cooked (served with grilled onions and the drinks were very on point (try a Daiquiri! . Also the owners are expats so you have to play sports center in the background if you can ignore the beautiful environment for a few seconds to fix your highlight. We were in Hopkins village, not in a resort, and tried all kinds of restaurants. I can say without a doubt that The Odessea is absolutely top notch food. We came once on Christmas Eve and they could sit our family just before the rush, although they were fully booked. We came back late on a Tuesday when the whole city was asleep and they were happy to serve us a complete dinner. The owners are very happy for your company, offer a great balance of light and yet attentive service. My only complaint is that we wish we could come back, but the flight is already booked! Everyone should try it!! Thank you.

This is our 2nd time in Hopkins and we were very excited to see that this restaurant had survived the pandemic. Not too surprising when you look at the food is absolutely amazing. The owners are a nice family we enjoyed talking to. In our last 2 excursions we have eaten in many places, including the most beautiful resorts in Belize, and the Odyssea to far has the best food in the city. If you find yourself in or near Hopkins, treat yourself and come down.

We had a great lunch here! The best fish and chips ever! I don't even eat fish and I ate my husband's plate. I had the coconut yarn. The plate was loaded with shrimp and they were delicious. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great meal and a great atmosphere.

Eddy and his wife were very friendly and helpful in my experience in Hopkins. They ran a fantastic restaurant and a sports bar. If you want to watch your sport while in Hopkins they are the place!! Thanks for everything and the great food!

Absolutely love the food. Amazing service and amazing owners. We also recommend this place to our guests at our villa and nobody is ever disappointed. Something for everyone. Snacks, lunch or fine dining. Not to mention the amazing drinks. You will not be disappointed! A must stop when in Hopkins.
