Tabasco Mexican Grill - Danielsville

For the past year, we have been ordering take out 1x week from Tabasco.. Tonight we decided to dine in. Oh, boy were we disappointed. We fought flies off our meal the entire time! We said something 2X to the waitress and got blown off. There were dirty dishes and a trash can sitting in the dining room. If this is the dining room I'm afraid of what the kitchen looks like. So sad, we really try and support local restaurants but they have to step up to basic sanitation.

This place is awful! The mangers are rude and should be in a different line of business. I have had several bad experiences at this restaurant and for some reason I kept giving them a chance. This past weekend I went to dine in and asked for their drink menu, I was told they didn 't have one (even though they 've been open a year . I quickly realized why they didn 't because they are running a scam. I asked for drink prices and the guy manager came over and told me the price for margaritas. He said a pitcher was 22.95 and a Margarona was 11.50 so I went with a Margarona. Side note: those prices are ridiculous, you can go to La Parilla in Athens and get a whole pitcher for 13.95 on weekends and a Margaona for $9 and they are WAY better in all the ways...food, drinks, wait staff, and customer service. The bill comes and I am charged 14.50 for the Margarona so I let the waitress know and she tell the other manager know who is a heavy set woman. She comes over and tells me that isn 't the price and she will write down the prices they have in their system, I tell her that isn 't necessary but she walks away anyway. The guy who told me the prices happened to walk in the door at that time (he had left for awhile . They talk to each other and she comes back over to the table and begins to tell me all the different prices for each size margaritas, I stop her and tell her that isn 't necessary. She then says he told you the correct price and that is what you are getting charged, I asked her if she is accusing me of lying and she said YES he said he never told you that. So at that point of course I am mad and ask for him to come back up front. I confront him about what he told me and he says 'Yes, I actually did tell you that '. I got no apology and all the woman manager did was roll her eyes, tell him to credit the difference, said something to him in Spanish, and walked away. I 've never been treated like that in any establishment and if they want certain prices they need to quit being cheap asses and print damn menus or at least have the prices memorized. And the guy has been there since they opened so he should be very familiar with the cost of things. My friend I was with order 2 Micaladas and she was told they were $7 each and was charged $9 each, they did nothing to correct that. I would tell you about all my negative experiences with this company but then we would be here all day. In short summary they 've messed up my order almost everytime I 've been there, tossed a bag with tacos in it at my friend (same woman manager , left items out of the to go orders. My fault for continuing going back but NEVER AGAIN! I tell everyone how awful this place is in hopes they don 't go and have to be treated with disrespect.

This place is great and does not disappoint. The service is great, food is great and the prices are fair. They won't disappoint if you are looking good Mexican dishes!

In town for the holidays needed a break from the turkey! Large varied menu ,great choices, plenty of food Plenty of inside seating the only problem was that some of the wait staff were not wearing masks

Wonderful Mexican food! They have reopened for dine in, the service is great and the food is consistently above average. So glad you are in Danielsville! We eat here regularly.
