And also, shout out to Nico the manager who made everything in his power to make sure everyone had a great time. I can’t wait to come back!
I stayed here and had an issue with a water leak in my room. The manager Domingo L contacted me, and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my stay. I will definitely be back because of how this issue was resolved. Staff is great!!
So we decided to eat here. They stay open late but i got to tell everyone they had the BEST host ive ever encountered. We tipped him he was so great. His energy and charisma was the best. We had crab cakes for starters (amazing) and we got burgers. We sat outside on the patio and watched the traffic on Collins! Great food and service. Not sure about the hotel but the restaurant has my business anytime im in Miami!!
My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. Our room was right above the front of the hostel where the DJ plays. The music went on quite late so we were awake until about 3am. Maybe if the windows were thicker it might help as a few times I kept checking them as they sounded like they were open as you could hear so much outside The staff were so lovely and friendly. It really is in a great location. Normally the noise wouldnt of bothered us as we would of been out partying as well. But coming from another trip we just wanted a nights rest and it just isnt that sort of place. They do supply earplugs which is a bonus lol. I would recommend it to the younger crowd who enjoy to be out at night.
I have just come back from staying at this hotel and it was enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but gives you everything you need including air conditioned rooms! They do have dorm rooms but I chose to have my own room and paid the extra. Well worth it. Lovely and clean bathroom! Yes, the hotel has a pool (well 3 small ones) but it's not an area you can sunbathe, sadly! With some thought and the right investment you could. The trees block whatever little sun can get through and the high rise building next to it also blocks a lot of sun which is a shame. UNLESS you like the beach! (Personally, I don't) but the beach is a 5 min walk which is beautiful and has been extremely well maintained. Tony in the bar within the hotel makes amazing cocktails. I had a Chocolate Martini and it blew my mind how good it was! The location of this hotel is amazing! 5 minute walk is the beach, a huge selection of eateries and bars to enjoy. Naked Taco across the road on the right hand corner do very good burritos, be prepared. They're huge! Also 1957 Havana (Cuban) and Oh Mexico opposite is also amazing! If you're a sport lover then the Irish bar is also a 3-4 minute walk which serves a lovely Irish Breakfast for $13 with a good selection of beers. The Belgian beer on tap was lovely! I watched Newcastle vs Brentford and Chelsea vs Wolves as they have multiple screens while having my breakfast. If you like shopping then you can head to Brickell Shopping Centre. It's like $15-20 each way in a cab/Uber/Lyft. Go during the day though it's easier with traffic. The traffic in the evening in town is SUPER busy! Worse than London! You can always get the subway which is cheap OR get a cab but just leave early, like 6-6:30pm, maybe 7 at a push. Any later then it will be quicker to walk. Miami is a super cool place but be prepared, it's not cheap and that's before the tax and 10-20% tip has been added on.
