Last time I went the hostess was sweet and she recommended a curry dish that was just perfect on a bed of rice. The pad Thai is a winner. And the Thai iced tea was one of the best I had. The hostess let my “date” take the roses they had made available to me because they said he was sweet.
I enjoy Thai food and this place is one of my favorites because I don’t like my food “burn your tongue” hot and they will cut every dish to the level of hotness that you prefer. We ate here with three friends that we had not seen in a very long time, and we were able to stay over our dinner without the staff rushing. We started with fresh spring rolls (rolled, not fried), which were crispy and tasty and exactly the right amount of bang to sauce. We ate family style and enjoyed a chicken dish with peanut sauce, my favorite pastry shark, a salad, and a curry, all served with brown instead of white rice (a different option - my friends are careful about their diet and they liked this; I'm not a big fan of brown rice, but it's nice that this is an option). Everything was cooked to perfection, the curry was tasteful and hot, but not too hot. The pad thai was made with chicken and shrimp, and the chicken with peanut sauce had added a beautiful generous amount of peanuts. The salad only added the correct amount of contrast to the hot dishes. Price is moderately affordable, service is excellent and the food is great. What is not to like?
