This isn’t the ideal spot if you’re seeking a nice beach atmosphere. The clientele is quite young, and the dance floor is small, which makes it likely for drinks to end up spilled on you. I also had an unfortunate experience with some other patrons who had to be removed due to their disruptive behavior.
Whenever I visit Daytona, I always stay at the Hilton and take a stroll to the restaurants. This particular restaurant is a favorite of my wife and me; we absolutely love the food, which is always very fresh, and the steamed oysters are outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The beer selection is great, and the service was excellent. We make it a point to dine here every time we’re in Daytona Beach.
The restaurant completely failed to meet our expectations and didn’t even offer an apology. When I spoke to the manager, he simply said, "I just got here, what do you want me to do?" Addressing the issue that their establishment created would have been a good place to start. It seems they rely on enough tourist business that they feel they don’t need to uphold proper restaurant standards. I would recommend avoiding this place.
