We were greeted by a cold and unwelcoming lady who seemed unimpressed by our slightly late arrival at 8:05 PM for a reservation at 8 PM. Despite the rainy weather, she suggested we wait on the uncovered terrace for our table to be ready. After a half-hour wait, we were finally able to order a disappointing glass of Castellane champagne, which was not the luxury Laurent Perrier brand as advertised. The menu was presented on a shared tablet, making it difficult to peruse without drawing attention to the high prices. Our chosen appetizer, pork croquettes, was overly greasy. When our main dish of sole came, it was well-prepared but nothing spectacular. Despite ordering a dessert listed on the menu, we found it lacking in flavor. The constant movement of staff rearranging tables was distracting, prompting us to request coffee in the bar area to finish our meal. The bill came to a staggering 338 euros, with the time indicating it was already past 10 PM. Overall, this dining experience left us with a bitter taste in our mouths. Not bad, kind service, but still a firm account for an aperitif with menu la carte, we didn't think it was from a higher class than certain restaurants in the dick, where the price is maw/e.
