Steel City Pops - Decatur

The pops are amazing! I don’t do the dips and drizzles, so I can’t comment on that. I like the purity and fidelity of the flavors, just as they are. Steel City doesn’t put excess sugar to overwhelm the flavors like some other brands. In this summer heat, I am loving the cucumber lime and the peach cream pops right now. Great downtown Decatur location. My toddler niece was highly entertained watching the pop lab that can be viewed from the tables. Great packaging if you want to take a few home. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I also don’t know how many health inspections I’ve seen with a perfect score! Free parking is behind the building where you also park for Sapori di Napoli.

The two young ladies behind the counter were delightful and patient. They helped me figure out what I truly wanted and NEEDED! Because I really needed it all. The concept is wonderful. The buttermilk popsicle tasted really fresh as did all of the ingredients. I am truly happy with my experience, the cleanliness and the price. Great job! Can’t wait to come back.
