I would give the pork lemongrass salad with vermicelli a rating of 3.5 out of 5. Despite walking by this restaurant many times without noticing it, I was pleasantly surprised by the honey-glazed roast pork which was definitely the highlight of the dish. The portion was generous and the prices were reasonable. They also offer a variety of bread options. This restaurant is now on my list of go-to places to eat.
TIEN'S HOT BREAD may appear unassuming at first glance, located in the heart of Dee Why on the Northern Beaches. This long-standing bakery has maintained its traditional charm, offering simple weekend loaves and classic bakery treats without any fancy upgrades or trendy variations. However, what sets this bakery apart is its selection of Vietnamese and Cambodian inspired rolls. The soft rolls, finger buns, and other delights they offer are worth a try, making it a hidden gem in the area that should not be overlooked.
First time heading down to Tiens Bakery for a Cambodian roll and I'll definitely be back!! Bread rolls are super soft and fresh and the selection of slow cooked meats look delish. I got the Cambodian Lemongrass Pork and it was amazing and the ladies working there are very sweet. My photos dont do it justice. Highly recommended!
Previous owners to that Asian Bakery location had the Vietnamese Noodle soup which was awesome, these current owners don't provide that, which is disappointing but all in all their current food offerings are fresh delicious! I always go back for the Vietnamese Pork Rolls and hot dim sims!
