Hoposa Costa D'or - Deia

Amazing view with a great lunch. Salmon poke bowl was light and fresh, and the tuna sandwich was very flavorful. Fries were cooked perfectly. Would recommend for a lunch if you are staying at the property.

Everything seems to be spot on: location, seclusion, adult only, astounding sunset views and excellent food. And then, as you get to your room you get teleported to a stunningly different era of mediocrity. Basic is fine, but cheap doesn 't cut it at this price point and target audience. The double bed , so jokingly made up of two separate units, is so bad they move all around the floor every time you turn over at night. Couple this with cheap poliester-filled pillows, ridiculously loud AC and you easily get the antithesis of what a luxury retreat can be. Really mixed feelings here, if only you could experience the place without being subjected to the pains of accommodation...

We stayed for ten days at HOTEL HOPOSA COSTA D'OR and found the evening menu one-dimensional. Basically, it was the same menu every night with no variations, a la carte or daily specials. We must say the food on offer was excellent but it meant we had to travel into Deia most nights to eat. From a restaurant drinks perspective we experienced during the first couple of evenings when requesting a glass of wine the waiters poured minimal amounts from the chosen bottle. We suspected they were instructed to do this as we eventually had to speak to the Maître D'hôtel of which he apologised and rectified thereafter with his restaurant staff. We completed the hotel overview slip and included some notes regarding the lack of menu variety during our stay and constructive observations. The disappointing thing was we never received any response from the hotel chain.

Lugar perfecto para desconectar, solo adultos, muy bien situado y muy buena atención al cliente.

Carta reducida si se pasan más de cuatro días. Excelente presentación y calidad. Precios elevados respecto a otras cartas de mercado sin llegar al nivel de Sa Padrissa, un hotel premium vecino. Añoré en la carta los chipirones del mediodía.
