The description says pork seasoned with a vibrant blend of traditional Cuban spices... The only spice I could detect, because it completely overwhelmed everything other than the dill pickles, was CINNAMON. It was not a good sandwich, much less a Cuban Sandwich. Perhaps it was a cinnamon sandwich? Please, either change the recipe or the menu. I 'd prefer you change the recipe. Here are some traditional Cuban spices: : onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, bay leaf, salt, pepper, cilantro, coriander, lime, paprika, Note that cinnamon is not on the list. My Cuban friends tell me the only place in Cuban cuisine that cinnamon is used that they can think of is arroz con leche, or rice pudding.
Stopped in today for lunch. I was greeted at the door by Destiny(bartender). She sure can make a strong Long Island Iced Tea. I enjoyed the amazing Mac and cheese, and small spinnich salad. This salad is out of this world full of taste and fresh ingredients. Thank you, Robert the Cook today. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I look forward to my next visit here!!! Ask for Destiny, she's awesome with a southern tone. 5-3-2024 Today I had Megan as my server, she is awesome! She makes a smooth strong Long Island. We had the Cuban sandwich, full of flavor and big enough to share. Had to get the Mac&cheese as well. Tasty and full of cheese. Another wonderful experience, great service and out standing food.
