J Bistro Downtown-sandusky

We think this is the best restaurant in downtown Sandusky. Staff is kind and consistently good. The patio with live music is so fun. We’ve seen a singer-guitarist on two occasions. We’ve also been there in the winter when it’s decked out with a pretty Christmas tree. Wonderful food! Apps are fantastic! We loved the street corn dip and the crab cake special!

Lobster stuffed portobello was excellent. Great service even better vibes on the patio with live music so happy stopped in.

The wait staff was exceptional. The food was pretty good, enough for us to order more food to go.

Wonderful evening here at bistro. Our wait person Lynn was perfect helpful and all great things. Would recommend bistro and Lynn to everyone Everyone stop by. Great food etc.

Good food, great drinks and a friendly staff. They have great vegetarian options and can make dairy or gluten free options happen depending on the seasonal menu. Vegetarian options: They always have a vegetarian option for every coarse and can work around any food allergy to a point.
