The vanilla slice was full of thick custard which oozed out the side when we bit into it. The pineapple tart was very interesting; we haven't come across it in other bakeries. There is a crumbly crust at the bottom, filled with cooked down pineapple, topped with cream, with the yellow icing on top. It was very messy to eat on the go, like the vanilla slice, but was a yummy treat! We were tempted to go back in for more sweet treats but resisted. While we were there, there was a steady stream of customers, so it's clearly very popular. Great little find! Defo recommend a visit when you're in Rhyl!
The freshly baked bread was incredible, reminiscent of bread from years past. The cakes and sandwiches were also delicious and fresh. We are planning to return for a few days next week and can't wait to dine here again. We will also be purchasing some loaves to take home and freeze. Excited for our next visit!
Straight up the best sausage roll in Rhyl. Massive and filling. My one complaint would be that I wish mine was hot, I saw there was a hot counter but I was too late as it was empty. 100% recommend
Fabulous fresh cakes and really good on price, cheaper than supermarket but bigger and much tastier!! Bread is also delicious and a loaf disappears the same day I buy it!
Great variety of cakes and at great prices, also the sausage rolls are amazing too, sausage roll was cold but to be fair we popped in just as the lady working in the shop was about to close and she did tell me the sausage roll was cold beforehand. Even so it tasted excellent and so did the lovely vanilla slice I had. Will be returning again soon to try more of the cakes and food. Also worth mentioning staff were very friendly too.
