Billy's Inn - Denver

Family suggested we meet here after a day of skiing and I'm sure I'm glad they did. I don't know how I missed this place in the area over the last 30 years. Had the chicken philly with huge chicken buds and a chipotle-like sauce, which was the right type of Tangy. The Ceasar salad was one of the best. Parking: Small plots on both sides with parking nearby. Had three cars in our party and had no problems.

I'm so embarrassed I've never eaten here before it's probably 1.5 miles from my house, And I'm a North side Denver native. I have driven past probably thousands of times. I had the best bowl of green chili I've had in a long time there today. The menu looked amazing pretty good price points and the service was great. They also have over 100 tequilas to choose from. I'm a fan and will definitely be back might need to be a regular!

Billy's inn is a kind of anomaly. As in, the name does not just say incredible Mexican food and yet, somehow it is. Despite the proximity, my partner and I took a long time to come here, but finally during the early Kovid. So glad we did. Outside the chic Mexican places this is definitely one of the best, and probably top two for queso. Good food variety, good service. Often quite full, but so prepared for it. Parking is terrible, so nearby street parking is sometimes required.

We ordered Billy's Classic Burger* 15.00Choice of cheddar, Swiss, Provolone, Pepper Jacket or Bleu cheese (jalapeño Cream Cheese add .50). I had the Swiss cheese and my daughter had the provolone cheese on her. The burgers had a roasted bungalow that was really delicious! Billy's burgers are made of fresh food, boiled medium, and served on a brioche back with your choice of fries, homemade potato chips or Baja Slaw. We had the frits that came out hot, but were more like heated pommes that you really can't chew. The service was really good. But the Pommes wish I had the homemade potato chips. Three stars.

Billy's Inn is fantastic, it's a local brunch spot my friends and I love! They were also here for dinner and had an equally brilliant meal experience. I don't get the reviews I've read that were so critical as I never had a problem with Billy's food or service! Will be back again and again!
