It’s a kind of a fruit punch with rum in it, and the distinct aroma of coconut. It’s also good that there are vegetarian options on the dinner menu – something you just don’t expect at a cowboy bar. Add to that the live music, the cute waitresses in short pants, and the fair prices, and this place is OK. On the bad side, the booths, (at least the one we were in), was kind of tight, and difficult to get in and out of. I also did not like that they charge $1.00 extra to substitute a veggie patty on any of their burgers, their fries are really pretty weak, and the buns they use leave a lot to be desired. I might add that the place can be difficult to find for people unfamiliar with the area. Just turn in there on Uintah, and keep going straight through the turnabouts. Toby Keith’s is in the Northfield Shopping Center about a quarter mile south of Northfield Boulevard on the east side of the road. The place used to be a Borders Books, so the parking out front is limited. If you pull in there, and find no spaces, you will have to back out. There is no way for even a small car to turn around, and there is only the one entrance/exit. A better idea is to pull in the closest driveway, drive a little further east, and park in the bigger lot to the north of the restaurant. When we went, the restaurant was not busy at all, but the little parking lot by the front doors was already full. It could get hairy if the place were busy, and people were trying to back out while others were trying to come in. Hence, unless you follow my directions, or have good luck, parking will be a problem
