I was lucky enough to win a Facebook competition to win 2 main courses. Food was lovely and the staff are amazing. All staff that we came into contact with were friendly, happy and very helpful. Lovely place will definitely be returning.

Booked a table for a surprise birthday, staff were incredible, the food was beautiful, the food was hot, well presented all came out at the same time for 10 people! not a bad word to say!

We went on Sunday for a rearranged Christmas Lunch. Christmas Day was a disaster. We waited for over an hour for our 1st course. One of our party was taken ill., so we left. The service was a joke to be honest, not enough staff and all young. The meal was re- arranged for last Sunday. What a difference we were totally looked after the meal itself was very good and plentiful. I understand it is under new management and what a difference. We will certainly go again. Thank you to the new management team.

Me and my Mrs went on Friday was lovely food and very relaxed evening staff were very polite and made us feel very welcome. Will be back

Just want to say how much my wife and I enjoyed ourSunday lunch today at the dog and duck Shardlow,the Turkey was plentyful and tender , the service was quick and efficient the staff attentive without being overpowering and the sweet we had was exquisite strawberry and trifle cheesecake yum yum we shall be going again soon to enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price .
